Starting this summer the Keweenaw Star will be offering a 3.5 hour tour of the Torch Lake area. Along this trip, a full narraration of its historical significance will be provided by a Ranger of the Keweenaw National Historical Park. Along this journey we will see The Quincy Smelter, the old sites of the Tamarack and Franklin Stamp mills, The Torch Lake Cuts, Quincy's reclamation dredges, and the remains of the entire Calumet and Hecla mining works. "

Lunch will be a simple bag lunch with sandwich, chips, and soda provided by the Lunch Bag in Downtown Houghton. Additional items available for purchase on the vessel.
