Welcome to the website of the Keweenaw Star.

New for the 2010 season will be our official move to Charlevoix, Michigan.  This process began in the Fall of 2009 and will resume in May of 2010.  We would like to thank the City of Houghton, Michigan and its surrounding areas for the support for the past 10 seasons of sailing. 

In 2010 we will be sailing from the Old Acacia dock in downtown Charlevoix on beautiful Round Lake.  We will be offering sunset and sight-seeing tours of Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan from mid May through October.

We have teamed up with the Charlevoix Convention and Visitor Bureau and Castle Farms to produce a 2 separate itiniearies for attracting tour groups to town.  The package called Castles, Cruises, and more consists of a cruise on the Keweenaw Star, tour of Castle Farms, local guide for the Earl Young arcitecture tour, and time alotted for shopping in the downtown district.  More information can be found by contacting Lauren at the Charlevoix CVB.

The Keweenaw Star as always will be available for private bookings. New for 2010 will be off site chartering.  In our new location we will be able to reposition the boat for your convienience.  Available by special arrangements will be
